Mag Lock Upgrade

To improve the functionality of their new double swing iron gates and prevent forced entry, our client asked us to provide advice and recommend a solution which would hold their gates secure when in the closed position.
After a short site visit we recommended the installation of a Magnetic Lock benefitting from a holding force of 500kg.

Consisting of a 24V Relay module, a separate power supply, armature plate, magnetic lock and mounting brackets, the electronics were installed inside the existing Control Board enclosure and all wiring routed through the gate irons, minimising the risk of vandalism or tampering.

The system is programmed to release the holding force in the event of power failure.

We used only the best FAAC products which come with our standard one year warranty and the installation was completed and commissioned within half a day.
